Drumming
Drumming was my first instrument and the foundation of everything I do as a musician. I’ve been playing since the age of four, however it only really became my passion at 13 when I formed my first band with school friends and learned “Smells Like Teen Spirit.” From that moment, music stopped feeling like a chore and became something I genuinely loved. Since then, I’ve played in multiple bands across rock, punk, and heavier styles, developing my sound through rehearsals, live shows, and recording. This section showcases the bands I’ve been part of and the role drumming has played in shaping me as a songwriter, performer, and producer.
Temple
I am the current drummer for Temple, a hardcore band active since mid 2025. This project represents a new chapter in my drumming journey, challenging me to push my self and get better at what I do. We have already begun performing live, recently headlining our first show, which was a major milestone for the band. Temple currently has an EP released, and we are preparing to record new material soon. This band has challenged me to push my drumming physically and creatively, strengthening both my endurance and my precision in a live setting.
Sexecution
I was the drummer and primary songwriter for Sexecution from 2022 to 2024 as part of a college project. During this time, we performed at major local venues including The Bullingdon and the O2 Academy in Oxford. We recorded and released both an album and an EP, all of which I produced and mixed. This band pushed me creatively as a drummer, being the primary songwriter alongside our lead guitarist, it was my role to structure all of songs and work out what fit each song best. Sexecution was the most fun I’ve ever had playing music, and it played a huge role in developing my confidence and identity as a heavy drummer.
Fall Short
I joined Fall Short as the drummer and producer in March 2023 and remained with the project until 2025. Although we only played one live show together, the band was heavily focused on writing, rehearsing, and recording. During this time we recorded an EP, and although the band is no longer active, we are currently in the process of recording an album which I am producing and mixing. This project has allowed me to grow significantly in a studio-focused environment, strengthening both my performance as a drummer and my skills as a producer and mixer.
